Great-horned Owl: I saved this image as "Owl on Mandy Facebook Feb 2 2015" but went back looking for it so I could link to it and could not find it.
Google image search and "found" it in a 2011 blog post
with a caption that included the words:

  1. Owls are wonderful. Sounds like it is calling to be your totem. Intuition and instinct are big for owls (not so much wisdom, but that is my opinion, they have small brains :)). Looking at their adaptations - specific to be lethal predators; being able to see in the dark; silent flight; excellent hearing (asymmetrical ear holes on most owls); camouflage; and so much more!! Very awesome!
