Unicorn root: any of several perennials of the genus Aletris having grasslike leaves and bitter roots reputed to cure colic LOVE IT!! I went in search of a "U" and am so glad I did. The images I found are of "False Unicorn Root," but this article is titled: "Unicorn Root, True"
