"Still" somehow captures the grace that found us that year, and the Simple gestures we chose to offer each other in our most difficult and complex moments:

Until I hear or see new words more than once don't make much of an impact. I heard "avuncular" on an Ally McBeal episode recently and vaguely remembered writing it down while reading this book.
