Believe it or not, for the past 2 weeks, I have been recovering from a rather severe "plant-based" allergy. Fun!
Came on after treating a little burn with a lot of aloe direct from the plant, and tea tree oil for the reaction.

Unwrapped a few gifts
Valerie's Christmas message: In this silent night, there is magic that connects our hearts, a celebration of the light that fills us, of a love that holds us. Step into this night, breathe in the crisp air, snuggle for a moment into the dark mystery and allow peace to pour in and to radiate out with each breath, touching every living thing until it expands eternally illuminating the stars as it shimmers by. This peace, this love, this is the holy gift I share with you. May your holidays be merry and bright.

How to Life an Extraordinary Life, by Stephen Cope - Christmas Eve part 2

Author of The Wisdom of Yoga: A Seeker’s Guide to Extraordinary Living, Stephen Cope
Bob Weisenbergon Jan 2, 2012
Contemporary Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita.
Dedicate your work to something bigger than you are.
First : “Find your Dharma”
Gandhi from the point of view of the Gita
It doesn’t matter if you succeed or if you fail – whether you succeed or fail is none of your business, your job is to bring everything you’ve got to your dharma.
Just out of curiosity, what translation do you use? Barbara Stoler Miller’s
Kripalu Institute for Extraordinary Living
“Let go of the outcome ... and ... turn it over to God”.
Music
Now beginning to understand
“Once you’ve got some clarity about your dharma, then the calling is to bring everything you’ve got to it”.
Poetry is saturated with the body is transient and the soul survives

Surrender without any conditions – without any grasping for outcome – produced his most sublime work

Law Love is huge! :)

Nichol : a new word for me. A rather complicated prism (A rhombohedron) of clear calcite bisected obliquely at a particular angle and subsequently cemented together with a transparent cement of which the refractive index lies between that of calcite for the ordinary ray which is totally reflected at the cement interface and the maximum refractive index of calcite for the extraordinary ray which is alone transmitted, both rays being plane-polarized at right angles to each other
